Requirements

An applicant must satisfy the provincial requirements for admission to the CPLED Program and as an articling student.

  1. Legal Education

    A bachelor of laws degree or juris doctor degree from a faculty of common law at a Canadian university is required. Alternatively, a certificate of equivalency from the National Committee on Accreditation is acceptable.

  2. Good Character Requirement

    Each applicant must provide proof that he or she is of good moral character and a fit and proper person to be admitted to the CPLED Program and as an articling student.

  3. Documents, Fees and Application Deadlines

    Contact the provincial CPLED program for information on the required documents, fees and application deadlines.

  4. Technical Requirements

    All students must have access to a computer system with internet access, a web browser and a sound card. Contact the provincial CPLED office if you have any questions about technical requirements.
